We believe the best way to learn is to practice. During the bootcamp, you'll gain practical understanding of the web development process by writing code repeatedly through pair programming, team projects and hackathons.
Learn how to build database-driven web application, from scratch, using modern languages and frameworks such as HTML5/CSS3, Javascript and Python. There are NO PREREQUITES for this course, it is BEGINNER FRIENDLY.
In addition to modern web development skills, you will also be introduced to best practices and standards, such as, user experience design, code refractoring, version control. You'll also be introduced to modern development techniques like Agile and Test-driven development.
Upon graduating, we gaurantee that you'll be skillful and confident enough to land a job as a web developer or to work on your own app ideas. We'll also provide practical advise on building a portfolio and preparing for technical interviews.
Hackers Guild bootcamps are open to all. We especially welcome female applicants. One of our missions as an organization is to inspire more women to pick up programming as a career.
After you graduate, you are welcome to join the Hackers Guild Alumni. You'll be part of a fresh community of developers, networking, learning for each other and working together on projects. We'll also provide you with advice and resources to further your skills.
